Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale and Ferrari of Boca Raton Racing continued its 2026 Ferrari Challenge North America season with a strong performance at Sebring International Raceway, marking the series’ return to the historic circuit after six years. Known for its demanding 3.74-mile layout and connection to the 12 Hours of Sebring, the track tested both driver skill and car durability.
Following a solid opening round at Thermal, the team entered four Ferrari 296 Challenge cars in a field of over 50 drivers, making for one of the most competitive rounds of the season
Kevin Gutierrez Shines:
Driving the No. 21 car, Kevin Gutierrez secured a third-place finish in Race 1, earning his second podium of the season. He also claimed his first career pole position in Trofeo Pirelli-Am. Despite a strong recovery drive in Race 2, a late mechanical issue ended his race on the final lap.
Hayden Gibson Continues Momentum:
After a Time Attack win at Thermal, Hayden Gibson finished second at Sebring in the No. 206 car, narrowly missing victory by just 0.242 seconds.
Lina Gibson Shows Progress:
Competing at Sebring for the first time, Lina Gibson broke into the top 10 and set the fastest laps among female drivers in multiple sessions.
L.T. Gibson Builds Experience:
L.T. Gibson continued developing in Club Competizioni GT, piloting the Ferrari 296 Biposto and gaining further confidence with the car.
The season continues May 13–17 at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Following a competitive weekend at Sebring, Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale Racing heads into the next round with strong momentum.
