Ferrari Purosangue

In the culmination of 75 years of leading-edge research, Ferrari has created a unique car and the encapsulation of the Prancing Horse’s DNA, where performance, driving pleasure and comfort coexist in perfect harmony. And that’s why this new model was called Ferrari Purosangue – Italian for thoroughbred.

UNLIKE ANY OTHER

The Ferrari Purosangue is the first four-door, four-seater in Ferrari's history, combining the brand's sporting heritage with an entirely new level of comfort and everyday versatility.

Its distinctive proportions reflect a completely new approach to Ferrari design. An all-new chassis with a carbon-fibre roof accommodates rear-hinged doors, creating easier access to a spacious cabin without compromising the car's sporting character.

Inside, four generously proportioned, heated and electrically adjustable seats provide exceptional comfort for both driver and passengers. The Purosangue also features the largest luggage compartment ever offered in a Ferrari, with folding rear seats providing additional space when needed.

The result is a Ferrari designed to accommodate more passengers and everyday activities while maintaining the exclusivity and driving experience associated with Maranello.

The Ferrari Purosangue's naturally aspirated V12 produces 725 cv (715 hp), with 80% of its torque available at just 2,100 rpm. Extensive improvements to mechanical and combustion efficiency, including Formula 1-inspired calibration, deliver the immediate throttle response expected of a Ferrari sports car.

Its distinctive V12 soundtrack accompanies the driver throughout the rev range, building to an unmistakable crescendo at higher engine speeds.

Developing the Purosangue's aerodynamics required hundreds of hours in the wind tunnel and thousands of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations. Ferrari applied the same rigorous development methods used for its most powerful sports cars.

The Purosangue introduces Ferrari Active Suspension Technology, alongside ABS Evo, further developed to improve braking performance on low-grip surfaces. Its 4RM-S all-wheel-drive system incorporates four-wheel steering technology derived from the 812 Competizione, improving axle response and precision when entering and exiting corners.

Unlike conventional SUVs and crossovers, the Purosangue features a mid-front-mounted engine and sports car-inspired transaxle layout. A Power Transfer Unit (PTU) positioned ahead of the engine enables its distinctive all-wheel-drive configuration while helping maintain the weight distribution and driving dynamics expected of a Ferrari.

AN UNMISTAKABLE LOOK

The Ferrari Purosangue replaces the traditional front grille with a distinctive suspended dihedral design. Its sculpted front incorporates a discreet housing for the camera and parking sensors, while the daytime running lights sit between paired air intakes that flow into the upper flanks.

Along the sides, Ferrari's signature aerobridge design and layered bodywork create the impression of a floating coupé. Sculpted wheel arches reveal a second visual layer beneath the exterior, while the rear-hinged doors provide generous access to the cabin.

At the rear, muscular surfaces flow into a horizontal line incorporating the taillights. Two sculpted scoops lead into integrated vents, while an imposing diffuser and prominent rear wings emphasize the Purosangue's width and athletic proportions.

INTERIOR

The Ferrari Purosangue's cabin combines the elegance of a luxury lounge with Ferrari's signature GT sports car design. Its spacious interior features carefully sculpted surfaces and a modern layout that maximizes comfort without sacrificing the sporting character of the cabin.

Ferrari's dual-cockpit architecture places both driver and passenger at the center of the experience. An entirely digital interface includes a 10.25-inch passenger display, providing driving information and allowing the passenger to participate more fully in the journey. This design extends to the rear, creating four distinct seating areas.

For the first time in Ferrari history, the cabin features four separate, independently adjustable seats. Variable-density foam and advanced suspension technology enhance occupant comfort, while the heated rear seats can recline individually or fold forward to increase luggage capacity.

The Purosangue also offers an extensive range of standard Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control and Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Automatic High Beam and Traffic Sign Recognition
  • Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist
  • Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert
  • Driver Drowsiness and Attention Monitoring
  • Rear-view parking camera
